Summary

Attract is a Normal-type move with no power and 100% accuracy. When used, it infatuates a Pokémon of the opposite gender, causing a 50% chance that the affected Pokémon will be unable to attack each turn. Attract does not work on genderless Pokémon or Pokémon of the same gender as the user. Introduced in Generation II, Attract adds a strategic layer to battles by potentially immobilizing the opponent. It is often used in conjunction with other status moves to disrupt an opponent's strategy.

Effect

Causes the target to fall in love with the user, giving it a 50% chance to do nothing each turn. If the user and target are the same gender, or either is genderless, this move will fail. If either Pokémon leaves the field, this effect ends.
