Summary

Dragapult

Dragapult is a dual-type Dragon/Ghost Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII.

Type: Dragon / Ghost

Abilities: - Clear Body: Prevents other Pokémon from lowering Dragapult's stats. - Infiltrator: Bypasses the target's barrier, substitute, and the like and hits. - Hidden Ability: Cursed Body - May disable a move used on the Pokémon.

Physical Characteristics: - Stealth bomber-like body structure. - Has two Dreepy in its horns, which it shoots out like missiles. - Its body is transparent, showing its inner Dreepy.

Behavior and Habitat: - Known to be caring towards the Dreepy it carries. - Lives in mountains and caves.

In Battle: - Known for its high speed and Attack stats, making it effective for quick, powerful strikes. - Its unique type combination gives it a number of resistances, including Water, Electric, Bug, and Poison.

Evolution: - Evolves from Drakloak starting at level 60. Drakloak evolves from Dreepy starting at level 50.

Interesting Facts: - The Dreepy inside Dragapult's horns can fire out, using the horn as a cannon. They don't mind being fired out because they get to travel faster. - Dragapult is the only Pokémon with a base stat total of 600 that isn't a Legendary Pokémon, a Mythical Pokémon, or a pseudo-Legendary Pokémon. - Despite being a Ghost-type, Dragapult is shown to care deeply for its Dreepy, contradicting the usual solitary and eerie nature of most Ghost-type Pokémon.

Flavor Text Entries

  • Sword: When it isn’t battling, it keeps Dreepy in the holes on its horns. Once a fight starts, it launches the Dreepy like supersonic missiles.
  • Shield: Apparently the Dreepy inside Dragapult’s horns eagerly look forward to being launched out at Mach speeds.
