Abilities: - Wandering Spirit: This ability causes the Pokémon to swap abilities with an opponent that hits it with a move making contact. - Hidden Ability: None
Physical Characteristics: - Runerigus is a large, serpentine Pokémon with a body made of ancient, runic stones. - It has a single, yellow eye and several sharp teeth. - The runes on its body depict a curse.
Behavior and Habitat: - This Pokémon is known to be very aggressive. - Runerigus typically inhabits ancient ruins and other old structures.
In Battle: - Runerigus has high Defense and Special Defense, making it a good wall against many types of attacks. - Its signature move, Shadow Claw, is a Ghost type move that has a high critical-hit ratio.
Evolution: - Runerigus evolves from Galarian Yamask when the player travels under the stone bridge in the Dusty Bowl after Yamask has lost at least 49 HP from its max HP and didn't go to the Pokémon Center or any other healing spots.
Interesting Facts: - Runerigus is the only known Pokémon capable of using the move Shadow Claw by level up. - Its body is possibly a reference to the ancient stones, like Stonehenge, found in the UK, where the Galar region is based. - Runerigus is the only Pokémon with a base stat total of 483.
