Cyndaquil is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It is the Fire-type starter Pokémon of the Johto region and is known for the flames that erupt from its back when it feels threatened or is in battle. Cyndaquil evolves into Quilava starting at level 14, and then into Typhlosion starting at level 36.
