Summary

Thwackey is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII. Thwackey is the evolution of Grookey, which is one of the three starter Pokémon available in the Galar region's Pokémon Sword and Shield games. Thwackey evolves into Rillaboom at level 35.

Type: Grass

Appearance: Thwackey resembles a small, green monkey and gets its name from its habit of using the sticks it carries to beat on objects, most notably, a pair of wooden sticks. It stands on two legs and has a playful, energetic demeanor. Its body is mostly green with a lighter green face, yellow eyes, and a tuft of orange hair on top of its head. Thwackey’s wrists and ankles are adorned with brown bracelets that resemble natural wood.
