Abilities: - Flame Body: The opponent has a 30% chance of being induced with Burn when using a move that requires physical contact with Larvesta. - Hidden Ability: Swarm: Powers up Bug-type moves in a pinch.
Physical Characteristics: - Larvesta has a flame-patterned, five-segmented horn-like antennae on its head. - Its body is covered in fluffy, yellow fur with blue and black markings. - The base of its abdomen is red with two stubby feet.
Behavior and Habitat: - Larvesta is a somewhat rare Pokémon that can be found in forests and mountains. - It is known to spit fire as a defensive mechanism.
In Battle: - The combination of its Bug and Fire type gives Larvesta a unique set of resistances and weaknesses in battle. - Its ability, Flame Body, can burn opponents that use physical moves against it.
Evolution: - Larvesta evolves into Volcarona starting at level 59, which is the highest level a Pokémon evolves at in the main series games.
Interesting Facts: - Larvesta is the only Pokémon with a base stat total of 360. - It is also the only Pokémon in the Bug Egg Group that can learn Zen Headbutt by leveling up. - Despite being a Bug-type, Larvesta cannot learn U-turn, making it one of the few exceptions.
