Abilities:
- Inner Focus: This ability prevents Oranguru from flinching, except when attempting to use Focus Punch.
- Telepathy: Protects Oranguru from damage caused by its allies' moves that damage all Pokémon in a Double or Triple Battle.
- Hidden Ability: Symbiosis: If an ally loses its held item due to the foe's move, Oranguru will give its held item to the ally.
Physical Characteristics:
- Oranguru is a large, simian Pokémon resembling an orangutan.
- It has white fur and a fan-like hair on its head, similar to a sage's hat.
- It carries a fan made of leaves, which it uses for various purposes.
Behavior and Habitat:
- Oranguru is known to be intelligent and calm. It's often seen deep in thought.
- It inhabits the dense forests of the Alola region, specifically found in Lush Jungle and Poni Plains.
In Battle:
- Oranguru uses its fan for attack and defense strategies.
- Its signature move, Instruct, allows the target to use its most recent move immediately again.
Evolution:
- Oranguru does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon.

- Oranguru is known to use a special kind of berry to concoct its own medicine.
