Tapu Fini is a dual-type Water/Fairy Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation VII.

Abilities: - Misty Surge: Upon entering the battle, the Pokémon creates a misty terrain, which cuts the power of Dragon-type moves used against Pokémon on the ground and prevents them from being afflicted by status conditions or damage from Leech Seed, Spikes, and Stealth Rock. - Telepathy (Hidden Ability): This Pokémon anticipates an ally's attack and dodges it, preventing friendly Fire damage during Double and Triple battles.
Physical Characteristics: - Resembles a swordfish and a mermaid, with a body mainly colored in purple and white. - The shell that encases its body could be based on a clam or an oyster. - Its headpiece represents a swordfish and it carries a trident-like object, further associating it with the sea.
Behavior and Habitat: - Known to be very particular and does not easily interact with others. - Typically found in Ruins of Hope in the Alola region, a place with a strong connection to the sea.
In Battle: - Its Water/Fairy typing allows it to resist Fire, Water, Ice, and Dark-type moves, making it a versatile defensive Pokémon. - Its ability, Misty Surge, sets a Misty Terrain upon entering the battle, which benefits Tapu Fini and its allies by preventing status conditions.
Evolution: - Tapu Fini does not evolve nor has any known pre-evolutions.
Interesting Facts: - Tapu Fini is the only member of its Guardian Deity quartet not to learn a new move at level 1. - It can create water that purifies both mind and body, but will not offer this to any with ill intentions. - It's the heaviest of the Tapu quartet, a group of Legendary Pokémon that protect the Alola region's islands.
