Fake Tears is a Dark-type status move with no power and 100% accuracy. It sharply lowers the target's Special Defense by two stages. This move can be particularly useful in setting up for subsequent Special attacks, making the target more vulnerable. Fake Tears is often used tactically to break through bulky special walls and is most effective when the user has teammates with strong Special Attack stats.
