Guard-Split Move Detail
Guard Split is a Psychic-type status move with no power and perfect accuracy. This unique move combines the user's Defense and Special Defense stats with those of the target, then equally distributes the total between both Pokémon. As a result, both Pokémon end up with the same Defense and Special Defense stats, which can strategically weaken an opponent with high defenses or bolster a user with low defenses. Guard Split does not affect immunities to stat changes or other modifiers such as Reflect or Light Screen. This move is particularly useful in double battles or for Pokémon that rely on balancing out their defensive stats.

Effect
