Summary

Zapdos (Galarian Form), commonly referred to as Zapdos-Galar, is a regional variant of the traditional Zapdos found in the Galar region, introduced in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Crown Tundra expansion. Unlike the original Zapdos, which is an Electric/Flying-type Pokémon, Galarian Zapdos is a Fighting/Flying-type Pokémon. Its design and characteristics are inspired by the emu, a large flightless bird, as opposed to the original Zapdos' thunderbird inspiration.
