Bounce is a Flying-type move with 85 power and 85% accuracy. It is a two-turn move where the user bounces into the air on the first turn, making it immune to most attacks, and then strikes the target on the second turn. Bounce has a 30% chance of paralyzing the target upon impact. It can also hit targets that are using moves like Dig or Dive, and it breaks through the effects of Substitute when analyzed by generation mechanics. In Generation VI and later, Bounce also has the added effect of being able to hit opponents during the semi-invulnerable turn if the user is under the effect of a Power Herb, which allows it to execute in a single turn.
