Hail

Ice

Summary

Hail is an Ice-type move with no power or accuracy because it is a status move rather than a damaging move. When used, it creates a hailstorm that lasts for five turns. During the hailstorm, all Pokémon that are not Ice-type will lose a small amount of their HP at the end of each turn. Hail also enables certain moves, like Blizzard, to hit with 100% accuracy and activates abilities such as Ice Body, which restores HP, and Snow Cloak, which increases evasion. Hail can also transform the move Weather Ball into an Ice-type attack and doubles its power. Hail is often utilized in strategies that revolve around weather conditions, particularly in teams featuring Ice-type Pokémon.
