Pecharunt is a Mythical Pokémon introduced in Generation 9, native to the Paldea region. Known as the Subjugation Pokémon, it possesses the unique ability to control others through its toxic mochi.

Abilities:
- Poison Puppeteer: Pecharunt's exclusive ability causes any Pokémon poisoned by its moves to also become confused.
Physical Characteristics:
- Pecharunt has a small, round body resembling a piece of mochi, with a purple and pink coloration.
- It features a black, circular face with white eyes and a ribbon-shaped mouth.
- Two large, shell-like structures float beside it, resembling peach halves with glowing pink interiors.
Behavior and Habitat:
- Pecharunt is known for its cunning nature, often feigning weakness to manipulate others.
- It creates Binding Mochi from the poison secreted in its shell, which it uses to control both people and Pokémon.
- This Pokémon is associated with the Loyal Three—Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti—whom it once controlled.
In Battle:
- Pecharunt's Poison/Ghost typing grants immunity to Normal and Fighting-type moves and resistances to Bug, Grass, Fairy, and Poison-type attacks.
- Its signature move, Malignant Chain, is a powerful Poison-type attack that can badly poison the target.
- With high base Defense and a versatile movepool, Pecharunt excels as a defensive pivot and support Pokémon.
Evolution:
- Pecharunt does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon.
Interesting Facts:
- Pecharunt is the only known Pokémon capable of learning Malignant Chain.
- It plays a central role in the "Mochi Mayhem" epilogue of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's DLC, "The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero".
- Its design and lore are inspired by the Japanese folktale of Momotaro, the peach boy.
