Dracovish
Dracovish is a dual-type Water/Dragon Fossil Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII.
Type: Water / Dragon
Abilities: - Water Absorb: Restores HP if hit by a Water-type move. - Strong Jaw: Boosts the power of biting moves. - Hidden Ability: Sand Rush - Doubles the Pokémon's Speed stat in a sandstorm.
Physical Characteristics: - Fish-like body with dragon-like head. - Notably mismatched head and body, due to being artificially revived from fossils. - Mainly green and yellow coloration with blue fins.
Behavior and Habitat: - Believed to have been a powerful swimmer that could take down prey with its strong jaws. - Natural habitat unknown due to being extinct and revived from fossils.
In Battle: - Its signature move, Fishious Rend, deals double damage if Dracovish attacks before the target. - With its Strong Jaw ability, biting moves become extremely powerful.
Evolution: - Dracovish does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon. It can be obtained by combining a Fossilized Fish and Fossilized Drake in the Galar region.
Interesting Facts: - Dracovish is part of the first generation of Pokémon to include fossil Pokémon that are combinations of two different species. - Its design and lore seem to be a commentary on the mishandling and misunderstanding of fossils. - Despite its powerful abilities and stats, Dracovish's Pokédex entries suggest that its odd combination of parts made it difficult for it to breathe and eat, leading to its extinction.
