Roost Move Detail
Roost is a Flying-type move with no power and 100% accuracy. Rather than inflicting damage, Roost is a status move that allows the user to recover up to 50% of its maximum HP. One interesting aspect of Roost is that for the remainder of the turn in which it is used, the user temporarily loses its Flying type, which can affect type interactions and damage received from certain moves. Roost is commonly used by Flying-type Pokémon to enhance their longevity in battle, particularly those with a defensive or supportive role. It is especially valuable in competitive play for stalling and sustaining health.
