Me First is a Normal-type move with variable power and 100% accuracy. When used, it allows the user to preemptively use the target's aimed move with a 50% power increase, as long as the move is one that deals damage. Me First fails if the opponent's move is of lower priority or if the user moves after the opponent. It can only succeed if the target's move is a damaging one, excluding moves that have no set power or non-damaging effects. Me First is uncommon in competitive play due to its situational nature but can be a powerful tool in predicting and countering an opponent's strategy.
If the target has selected a damaging move this turn, the user will copy that move and use it against the target, with a 50% increase in power. If the target moves before the user, this move will fail. This move cannot be copied by mirror move, nor selected by assist, metronome, or sleep talk.
Short Effect: Uses the target's move against it before it attacks, with power increased by half.
