Frisk
Frisk is an ability in the Pokémon series that allows the user to check an opponent's held item when the Pokémon with Frisk enters the battlefield. Specifically, when a Pokémon with Frisk enters combat, it reveals the item held by a randomly selected opponent, alerting the player to the presence of held items which might otherwise remain unknown.
Effects: - Revealing Opponent's Item: When a Pokémon with Frisk enters the battle, it immediately identifies and reveals the held item of one opposing Pokémon. This can provide strategic advantages, such as preparing for potential item-induced strategies like healing from a Sitrus Berry, boosts from an Assault Vest, or attacks from a Choice item. - No Requirements: Frisk does not have any specific trigger conditions beyond the Pokémon entering battle. It can activate in single battles when the Pokémon is switched in or at the start of the match, and in double or triple battles, it reveals the item of one random opponent.
Effects
- When this Pokémon enters battle, it reveals an opposing Pokémon's held item to all participating trainers. In a double battle, if one opponent has an item, this Pokémon will Frisk that Pokémon; if both have an item, it will Frisk one at random.
