Overdrive Move Detail

Overdrive is an Electric-type move with 80 power and 100% accuracy. Introduced in Generation VIII, it is the signature move of Toxtricity. Overdrive hits all adjacent opponents in double battles, making it a useful move for damaging multiple foes simultaneously. The move makes a sound-based attack by playing an electric guitar, which ties into Toxtricity's punk rock theme. Additionally, because it is sound-based, Overdrive can bypass abilities like Soundproof, which would normally negate sound-based moves.
