Evolutionary Use:
The Dragon Scale is primarily known for its role in evolving Seadra into Kingdra. When Seadra is traded while holding a Dragon Scale, it evolves into Kingdra, a Water/Dragon-type Pokémon. This process was introduced in Generation II and remains a significant method for obtaining Kingdra in subsequent games.
Battle Utility:
Unlike some items that directly boost stats or grant in-battle effects in the main series games, the Dragon Scale does not provide any combat benefits in the mainline Pokémon games. It is purely an evolutionary item in these titles.
