Symbiosis is a Pokémon ability that allows an allied Pokémon to gift its held item to another ally. This ability activates when the recipient Pokémon consumes or loses its held item during battle. Symbiosis is particularly useful in Double Battles, where strategic item management can significantly impact the outcome of a match.

Effect in Battle: When an ally loses or uses up its held item, the Pokémon with Symbiosis will transfer its held item to that ally. This transfer occurs immediately after the item is consumed or lost, allowing for seamless item support. For instance, if an ally Pokémon holding a Sitrus Berry consumes it, the Pokémon with Symbiosis (holding another item, such as a Leftovers or a Choice item) will pass its item to the ally.
