Ability Detail

Snow Warning is an ability that automatically summons a hailstorm when a Pokémon with this ability enters the battlefield. The primary effect of this ability is to change the weather condition to hail, which lasts for five turns (or eight turns if the Pokémon is holding an item like an Icy Rock).

Effects:

Hailstorm: Hail causes damage to all Pokémon on the battlefield that are not Ice-type, dealing chip damage equal to 1/16th of their maximum HP at the end of each turn. Ice-type Pokémon are immune to this damage.
Abilities and Moves Boost: Certain abilities and moves can take advantage of the hailstorm. For instance:
Ice Body: Pokémon with this ability will regain HP equal to 1/16th of their maximum HP each turn during hail.
Snow Cloak: This ability boosts a Pokémon's evasion by 20% during a hailstorm.

Effects

The weather changes to hail when this Pokémon enters battle and does not end unless cancelled by another weather condition. If multiple Pokémon with this ability, drizzle, drought, or sand stream are sent out at the same time, the abilities will activate in order of Speed, respecting trick room. Each ability's weather will cancel the previous weather, and only the weather summoned by the slowest of the Pokémon will stay.
