Disguise
Disguise is a unique Ability exclusive to the Mimikyu species in Pokémon. Introduced in Generation VII, this Ability serves as a signature trait reflecting the Pokémon's lore and design.
Effects and Mechanics: 1. Preventing Damage: Disguise allows Mimikyu to avoid taking damage from an opponent's first direct attack. When Mimikyu is hit by a physical or special attack for the first time in battle, its Disguise Ability activates, causing the attack to deal no damage. 2. Disguise Form Change: Upon the activation of Disguise, Mimikyu's Pikachu-like costume (the 'disguise') appears to break or tear. This is visually represented by the change from its "Disguised Form" to its "Busted Form." 3. Stat Change: The transformation from Disguised Form to Busted Form does not affect Mimikyu's stats aside from the initial immunity to damage. However,

- If this Pokémon is in its Disguised Form and takes damage from a move, it switches to its Busted Form and the damage is prevented. Other effects are not prevented. This ability cannot be copied or replaced. This ability only takes effect for Mimikyu.
