Pokémon Alpha Sapphire is a part of the sixth generation of Pokémon games, developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for the Nintendo 3DS. It is a remake of Pokémon Sapphire, originally released for the Game Boy Advance in 2002. Released globally in November 2014, Alpha Sapphire, alongside its counterpart Omega Ruby, brings several enhancements and features to the original game.
