The Pokémon Sun and Moon games are part of the seventh generation of the Pokémon series, released by Nintendo and Game Freak for the Nintendo 3DS. This generation includes Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, and Pokémon Ultra Moon. The games were released initially in late 2016 for Sun and Moon, and the enhanced versions, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, were released in late 2017.
