Octolock Move Detail

Octolock is a Fighting-type move introduced in Generation VIII. Octolock itself does not deal any damage and therefore has no power or accuracy in the traditional sense. When used, Octolock prevents the target from fleeing or switching out and lowers the target’s Defense and Special Defense by one stage at the end of each turn it's affected. This move is unique to Grapploct and its evolved form, showcasing its octopus-like nature to trap opponents. Octolock can be a strategic option in battles to weaken bulky opponents over time.
