Dragon Ascent is a Flying-type move with 120 power and 100% accuracy. It is the signature move of Rayquaza. Upon using Dragon Ascent, the user's Defense and Special Defense stats are lowered by one stage each. Despite this drawback, Dragon Ascent is renowned for its high power and is often a critical move for Rayquaza in battle strategies. This move also allows Rayquaza to Mega Evolve without the need for a Mega Stone, provided it holds no other Mega Stone or Z-Crystal.
