Summary

TM130 (Stealth Rock) is a technical machine in the Pokémon series, introduced in Generation IV. When used, it teaches the move Stealth Rock to an eligible Pokémon.

  • Effect: When Stealth Rock is used, it sets up an entry hazard on the opposing side of the field. Any Pokémon that switches into battle will receive damage based on its vulnerability to the Rock type.
  • Damage Calculation: The damage taken by switching in is equal to 1/8th of the Pokémon's maximum HP for those neutral to Rock-type moves. This damage increases or decreases depending on whether the Pokémon is weak or resistant to Rock-type moves. For instance, a Pokémon 4x weak to Rock (such as Charizard) will lose 50% of its maximum HP upon switching in.
