Terrain Extender

Terrain-Extender is a held item introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon, designed to enhance the effectiveness of terrain-generating moves. When a Pokémon holding the Terrain-Extender uses a move that creates an environmental terrain effect—such as Electric Terrain, Grassy Terrain, Misty Terrain, or Psychic Terrain—the duration of the terrain is increased from the standard five turns to eight turns.
