Stone Plate

Stone-Plate is a type of Held Item in the Pokémon series. When a Pokémon holds this item, it increases the power of its Rock-type moves by 20%. This can be particularly useful in competitive play or tough battles, as it provides a significant boost to the damage output of Rock-type moves, making them more effective in taking down opponents.

The Stone-Plate is one of the many "type-enhancing" plates introduced in the fourth generation of Pokémon games (Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum). These plates can also change the type of the move Judgment when held by the Mythical Pokémon Arceus, turning Judgment into a Rock-type move and transforming Arceus itself into a Rock-type Pokémon.

An interesting fact about the Stone-Plate, and indeed all type-specific plates, is their role in the lore of the Pokémon world. The plates are said to contain fragments of Arceus' power, and they collectively play a significant role in the mythology of the Sinnoh
