Salac-Berry 
Salac Berry is a held item in the Pokémon series that activates when the holder's HP falls below 25% of its maximum. Upon activation, it boosts the holder's Speed stat by one stage, effectively making the Pokémon faster and often allowing it to outspeed opponents it previously couldn't. This makes the Salac Berry particularly useful for Pokémon that rely on speed to execute their strategies, such as sweeping opponents' teams with high-powered attacks or setting up additional stat boosts.
The Salac Berry is derived from the palabra "Salak," which is a tropical fruit also known as snake fruit. This tie-in to real-world fruits is common in the Pokémon series, where many berries draw inspiration from actual produce.
In competitive play, the Salac Berry is often used on Pokémon with the ability "Endure" or "Substitute" to intentionally lower their HP to the critical threshold safely.
