Reply-Mail is an item utilized primarily in the fifth installment of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. When a Pokémon is holding Reply-Mail, any status-affecting moves used against it, such as moves that inflict paralysis or sleep, will result in the attacker experiencing the same status condition as well. This mirroring effect can be particularly strategic in dungeons where status-inflicting enemies are abundant, providing a defensive advantage and potentially turning the tide of battle in the holder's favor.

Reply-Mail is especially valuable for Pokémon that need to navigate through treacherous dungeons with a high density of foes that rely on crippling status effects. While its primary purpose is defensive, it also indirectly supports offensive strategies by incapacitating enemies that depend on status conditions to be effective, thus granting more aggressive Pokémon teams a significant edge.

Used to send short messages to other players via Pokémon trading. Trainer may compose a message from a finite list of words when giving this item to a Pokémon. Once taken and read, a message may be erased and this item can be reused, or the message may be stored in the trainer’s PC. Held : Holder cannot be placed in the PC. Any move attempting to remove this item from the holder will fail.
