Heracronite is a Mega Stone that allows Heracross to Mega Evolve into Mega Heracross during battle. Upon Mega Evolution, Heracross undergoes significant changes that enhance its combat capabilities. Its base stats are dramatically increased, particularly in Attack, which skyrockets to one of the highest in the game, boasting a base Attack stat of 185.

When Heracross holds the Heracronite and its Trainer activates the Mega Evolution, Heracross not only gains a boost in Attack but also in its defenses and special attack, making it a more versatile and durable fighter. The Mega Evolution process also changes Heracross's ability to Skill Link, which ensures multi-hit moves like Arm Thrust, Pin Missile, and Rock Blast always hit the maximum number of times. This synergizes incredibly well with its high Attack stat, often resulting in consistent and massive damage output.
