Helix Fossil is a key item in the Pokémon series, first introduced in Pokémon Red and Blue. It is one of two fossils found in Mt. Moon, the other being the Dome Fossil. The Helix Fossil can be taken to a scientist at the Pokémon Lab on Cinnabar Island, who will revive it into an Omanyte, a Rock/Water-type Pokémon.
Effects: - When the Helix Fossil is resurrected, it transforms into an Omanyte at level 5. - This revival process is irreversible, and the player cannot convert the Helix Fossil back into its original state once it becomes Omanyte. - Omanyte evolves into Omastar at level 40, further enhancing its capabilities in battle.
