Green Shard
The Green Shard is an item in the Pokémon series primarily used as a form of currency or exchangeable material within certain games. Its primary function varies depending on the game in which it appears, but it is typically used to trade for valuable items or services.
Effects and Uses:
- In Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, a Green Shard can be traded to the Treasure Hunter on Route 124 in exchange for a Leaf Stone, which is used to evolve certain Grass-type Pokémon like Gloom and Weepinbell.
- In Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, Green Shards are used in the Move Tutors' services to teach Pokémon various moves that they wouldn't typically learn via leveling up or TMs. The number of Green Shards required for each move varies.
- In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, Green Shards can be exchanged with the Jugglers in Fuchsia City for Berries, which can then

Effect:
- No effect. In Diamond and Pearl, trade ten for a hail TM in the house midway along the southern section of sinnoh route 212. In Platinum, trade to move tutors on sinnoh route 212, in snowpoint city, and in the survival area. Eight shards total are required per tutelage, but the particular combination of colors varies by move. In HeartGold and SoulSilver, trade one for an aguav berry, a lum berry, and a rawst berry with the Juggler near the Pokémon Center in violet city. In HeartGold and SoulSilver, trade one for a durin berry, a hondew berry, and a wepear berry with the Juggler near the pal park entrance in fuchsia city.
