Garchompite

garchompite Sprite

Summary

Garchompite is an item introduced in Generation VI of the Pokémon series, specifically for use in Pokémon X and Y. It's a Mega Stone that enables Garchomp, a dual-type Dragon/Ground Pokémon, to Mega Evolve into Mega Garchomp when held during battle. This Mega Evolution can only be triggered if the player also possesses a Key Stone.

Effects of Garchompite:

  • Mega Evolution: When a Garchomp equipped with Garchompite undergoes Mega Evolution, it transforms into Mega Garchomp, significantly boosting its overall stats.
    • Stat Changes:
      • Attack: Mega Garchomp's base Attack rockets from 130 to an impressive 170, establishing it as a devastating force on the battlefield.
      • Defense and Special Defense: Both stats receive a substantial enhancement, with Defense growing from 95 to 115 and Special Defense from 85 to 95, heightening its resilience.
      • Speed: The Speed statistic, not mentioned previously, also changes. However, it decreases from 102 to 92, reflecting Mega Garchomp's increased power and bulk at the expense of speed.
