Clever Wing

Clever Wing is an item in the Pokémon series that, when used, grants a single Effort Value (EV) point in the Special Defense stat of a Pokémon. Unlike vitamins in the Pokémon games, which can be used up to a predefined EV limit of 10 for a specific stat, Clever Wing can be used repeatedly until the total EV limit of 510 across all stats is reached.

Effectively, Clever Wing is part of a group of items known as "Wings," which also includes Health Wing, Muscle Wing, Resist Wing, Genius Wing, and Swift Wing, each corresponding to a different stat. These items serve as a flexible and incremental way for players to fine-tune their Pokémon's EVs without committing to large boosts provided by other items like Carbos or Calcium.
