Chill Drive

Chill Drive is a held item in the Pokémon series, specifically designed for use with the Pokémon Genesect. When Genesect holds the Chill Drive, it alters the type of its signature move, Techno Blast, changing it from a Normal-type move to an Ice-type move. This allows Genesect to have better type coverage and take advantage of the Ice-type's effectiveness against common threats like Dragon, Flying, Ground, and Grass types.

Genesect itself is a unique Pokémon with balanced stats, making the type-change capability of Techno Blast through the Chill Drive a strategic tool in battles. Alongside the Chill Drive, there are three other Drives designed for Genesect: the Burn Drive (Fire-type), Douse Drive (Water-type), and Shock Drive (Electric-type), each modifying Techno Blast to a different elemental type.
