Calcium 
Calcium is a consumable item in the Pokémon series that is primarily used to increase a Pokémon's Special Attack EV (Effort Values) by 10 points, up to the maximum limit of 252 EVs for any given stat. By doing so, it helps in enhancing the Pokémon's performance in battle, especially for those that rely heavily on their Special Attack stat for dealing damage, such as Alakazam, Gardevoir, or Hydreigon.
In addition to its role in EV training, Calcium reflects a broader category of items known as vitamins, which are used to modify the EVs of a Pokémon. This category also includes items like Protein (increases Attack EVs), Iron (increases Defense EVs), Zinc (increases Special Defense EVs), Carbos (increases Speed EVs), and HP Up (increases HP EVs).
