Brick Mail is a type of held item in the Pokémon series that appears primarily in the Generation III and Generation IV games. Unlike many held items that provide direct benefits in battle, Brick Mail serves a different function. It is a type of "Mail" item, which allows players to write a short message that can be sent to another player or stored with a Pokémon in their party.
Brick Mail itself does not have any direct effects in battle. Instead, its primary utility is for communication with other players when trading Pokémon. When a Pokémon holding Brick Mail is traded, the recipient can read the message written on the Mail.
