Bluk Berry is a type of Berry in the Pokémon series with varying effects depending on the game generation. In Generations III and IV, the Bluk Berry's primary function is for making Pokéblocks and Poffins, respectively, which improve a Pokémon's conditions for participating in Contests by enhancing their Beauty. Specifically, in these generations, it doesn't have a combat application but plays a crucial role in non-battle activities.
From Generation VI onwards, the Bluk Berry can be used to make Poké Puffs in Pokémon-Amie, which helps increase a Pokémon's affection. This increased affection can, in turn, lead to better performance in battles, as affection can affect critical-hit ratios, evasion, and other factors.
