Honey

Honey is a consumable item in the Pokémon series that first appeared in Generation IV. Its primary function is to attract wild Pokémon when used in certain locations, specifically on Honey Trees in the Sinnoh region. By slathering Honey on a Honey Tree, players can return later (usually after six hours) to potentially encounter a wild Pokémon that is drawn to the sweet scent. Some of these Pokémon are exclusive or have increased encounter rates when Honey is used, such as Munchlax, Burmy, and Combee.
