Psychic Seed is a held item in the Pokémon series that boosts the holder's Special Defense when the field becomes a Psychic Terrain. The terrain-based activation provides a strategic advantage, enhancing the Special Defense stat by one stage for the duration of the terrain effect, which typically lasts for five turns unless otherwise extended by abilities or held items like the Terrain Extender.
Effects: - Activation: Psychic Seed activates immediately when Psychic Terrain is set, either by a Pokémon's ability (such as Psychic Surge, which is exclusive to the Pokémon Tapu Lele) or the use of the move Psychic Terrain. - Boost: Upon activation, the holder’s Special Defense increases by one stage.
