Tera-Shift

Tera-Shift is a unique ability that allows a Pokémon to change its type temporarily, usually to gain a strategic advantage in battles. This ability can be pivotal during a match by altering the Pokémon's type resistances and weaknesses dynamically, thereby taking opponents by surprise.

Effects:

1. Type Change: The primary effect of Tera-Shift is that it enables a Pokémon to change its type to another single type or to one of multiple types that it can randomly shift into. This transformation can occur once per battle and lasts for a predetermined number of turns.

2. Countering Moves: By changing its type, a Pokémon with Tera-Shift can effectively neutralize an opposing Pokémon's move that would otherwise be super effective. This ability is particularly beneficial when anticipating an opponent's strategy.

3. Stab Advantage: When a Pokémon changes type, it gains the Same Type Attack Bonus (STAB) for moves of its new type during the transformation period.
