Psychic-Surge

Psychic Surge is an ability introduced in the seventh generation of Pokémon games. When a Pokémon with Psychic Surge enters the battlefield, it creates a terrain effect called Psychic Terrain. This terrain effect has several significant impacts on the battle, enhancing and altering the way moves interact:

1. Boosts Psychic-Type Moves: Psychic Terrain increases the power of all Psychic-type moves used by any Pokémon on the ground by 50%. This can turn Psychic moves into devastating attacks when used by Pokémon with high Special Attack stats.

2. Prevents Priority Moves: While Psychic Terrain is active, all priority moves—those that typically strike first in battle, like Quick Attack, Bullet Punch, and Extreme Speed—are rendered ineffective against Pokémon on the ground. This defense makes Psychic Surge particularly valuable against foes who rely on priority moves to out-speed and finish off weakened Pokémon.

3. Blocks Certain Abilities and Moves: Moves and abilities that depend on the terrain, like Grassy Terrain and Electric
