Galvanize
Galvanize is an ability in the Pokémon series that was introduced in Generation VII. This ability changes the Pokémon's Normal-type moves into Electric-type moves while also granting them a 20% power boost. This transformation can make Normal-type moves, which typically lack type advantages, much more potent and strategically valuable in battles where Electric-type moves are advantageous.
Effects of Galvanize:
- Type Conversion: All Normal-type moves are converted into Electric-type moves.
- Power Boost: The converted Electric-type moves receive a 20% increase in power.
- STAB (Same-Type Attack Bonus): If the Pokémon with Galvanize is also an Electric-type, it gains the STAB bonus, further increasing the power of these moves by another 50%.
