Forecast is a unique Ability exclusive to the Pokémon Castform. This Ability allows Castform to change its form and type based on the current weather conditions in battle. This dynamic transformation provides strategic versatility depending on the weather, enhancing Castform's adaptability in specific scenarios.

- Weather-Dependent Form Changes:
- Sunny Form: When the weather is sunny (due to the move Sunny Day or the Ability Drought), Castform transforms into its Sunny Form, becoming a Fire-type Pokémon. In this form, it is visually characterized by a reddish-orange coloration.
- Rainy Form: When it is raining (due to the move Rain Dance or the Ability Drizzle), Castform transforms into its Rainy Form, becoming a Water-type Pokémon. This form features a blue, raindrop-like appearance.
- Snowy Form: Under hail conditions (created by the move Hail or the Ability Snow Warning),
Effects
- During rain, strong sunlight, or hail, this Pokémon's type changes to water, fire, or ice, respectively, and its form changes to match. This ability has no effect for any Pokémon other than castform. If the weather ends or becomes anything that does not trigger this ability, or a Pokémon with air lock or cloud nine enters battle, this Pokémon's type and form revert to their default.
