Solar Power is a Pokémon ability that enhances a Pokémon's Special Attack stat in sunny weather at the cost of its HP.

In intense sunlight, a Pokémon with Solar Power will gain a 50% boost to its Special Attack stat, significantly increasing the power of its special moves.
However, during each turn in sunlight, the Pokémon will also lose 1/8 of its maximum HP due to the ability. This trade-off makes the ability a double-edged sword, providing substantial offensive capabilities while putting a time limit on how long the Pokémon can stay in battle without healing or switching out.
