Magma-Armor
Magma Armor is an ability in the Pokémon series that primarily serves to protect the bearer from the status condition of freezing. Pokémon with Magma Armor cannot be frozen in battle, providing a significant advantage against Ice-type moves that could potentially inflict this status condition. This ability essentially allows the Pokémon to maintain their battle capabilities without the risk of being incapacitated by freeze, which would otherwise immobilize them and prevent them from taking any actions.
In addition to immunity to freezing, Magma Armor has another interesting function outside of battle. When a Pokémon with Magma Armor is in the player's party, it reduces the number of cycles needed to hatch Eggs by half. This makes it an extremely valuable ability for trainers engaged in breeding Pokémon, as it speeds up the hatching process considerably.

Effects
- This Pokémon cannot be frozen. If a Pokémon is frozen and acquires this ability, it will immediately thaw out; this includes when regaining a lost ability upon leaving battle. Overworld: If any Pokémon in the party has this ability, each egg in the party has its hatch counter decreased by 2 (rather than 1) each step cycle, making eggs hatch roughly twice as quickly. This effect does not stack if multiple Pokémon have this ability or flame body.
