Libero

Libero is a unique and highly strategic ability in the Pokémon series. Introduced in Generation VIII, Libero is the signature ability of the Pokémon Cinderace. This ability fundamentally changes how Cinderace interacts in battle by making it exceedingly versatile.

Effects

1. Type Change: When a Pokémon with Libero uses any move, it changes its type to that of the move it is about to use before the move takes effect. This means that if Cinderace uses a Fire-type move, it will become Fire-type, and if it uses a Fighting-type move next, it will change to Fighting-type. This type change occurs every time the Pokémon uses a different move.

2. STAB Bonus: Because Libero changes the Pokémon’s type to match the move it is using, the Pokémon always receives the Same Type Attack Bonus (STAB) on every move. STAB increases the power of moves by 50%, making even a diverse move set
